Wonderful stone house in the heart of Istria

Villa Stanisi is a handsome old stone house at the edge of a tiny village surrounded by vineyards. The owners, Robert and Inken have furnished it thoughtfully and tastefully and could not have been more helpful in making sure that we were comfortable. The house is wonderfully well equipped throughout, which makes it a real home from home. It’s within easy reach of the hill towns, and Pula, Rovinj and Porec for days out. Equally, it’s a lovely place for relaxing by the pool; the house gets the sun all day, and the terrace and pergola (laden with kiwi fruit) provide shade when the heat gets a bit much.
