Early risers get the freshest fish!

We found the fruit, vegetable, and fish market in Porec especially interesting and nice for shopping. The best place to park is at the main square, from where it is a 2-3 minute walk. The market opens early in the morning and closes at 2 pm. If you want the freshest and best fish, you should be there early in the morning, because sometimes the selection is a bit limited from noon. But even after a hearty breakfast you can still drive to Porec to buy fish and vegetables for dinner. Not all sellers will gut the fish on request. There are fruit and vegetables directly from the producer, bread from various bakeries, honey, olive oil, and cheese. Just around the corner is the post office.

Incidentally, every day from May to the end of October at the port of Poreč is a small flea market, where you can stop by.

However, the flea market in Groznjan, which always takes place on Thursdays, seems much more interesting to us.
