Observatory Visnjan
Really in the immediate vicinity of Stanisi, somewhat hidden in the forest, is the observatory of Visnjan. The view from up here is definitely worth a detour, it has views in all directions. The observatory has a 407 mm diameter reflecting telescope, which has discovered more than a hundred asteroids. It also offers a summer program for young astronomers, archaeologists and marine biologists.
